I often visited my Mom and Dad who lived right next door to Elsie and her family, she was an avid gardener who would share her tomatoes with my mother Claire each year. I enjoyed eating them whenever I had a chance.
My daughter Elliana helped Elsie in the garden when she was younger and enjoyed gardening with her each summer when the opportunity presented itself.
She was an amazing Lady who will always be fondly remembered and sadly missed.
She attended my Mom's funeral where my daughter sang Amazing Grace, it was fitting to have Elsie there as my Mom was a friend and neighbor who always spoke with respect and admiration when talking about Elsie.
We will miss you Elsie... Say hi to Claire for us...
