Obituary of Ken Andersen

Ken (Kenneth) Thorvald Andersen passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at the age of 89 years.

Ken is survived by: his loving wife, Sylvia Andersen; son, Ted (Judy Born) Andersen; daughter, Sherry (Greg) Willett; daughter-in-law, Elaine Andersen; daughter, Donna (Bruce Lebel) Hadwen; daughter, Debra (Tim) Maas; grandchildren, Jayson Sturrock (Crystal), Stephen Willett (Shelby), Nathan Willett, Christy (Nathan) Lawrence, Curtis (Jordyn) Andersen, Travis Andersen, Emma Hadwen, Eric Hadwen and Emily Freeman; great grandchildren, Kalib and Cali Jo; sisters, Helen Conlon and Jeanette Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Ken was predeceased by: his son, Rick Andersen; parents, Helmer and Esther Andersen; parents-in-law, Art & Bena Nelson; son-in-law, Troy Brotherwood; great granddaughter, Baby J; and brother-in-law, Ted Conlon. 

The Prayer Vigil in memory of Ken will be held from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 PM.

The Funeral Mass for Ken will be conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Ken's obituary at the time of the service.

Following the interment, a reception will be held at St. Anthony's Parish Hall where those who wish to share a memory of Ken are welcome to do so. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ken may be made to LRHF - Lloydminster Continuing Care or Alzheimer's Society.
