Obituary of Joan Styacko

Josephine “Joan” Hendrika Styacko passed away suddenly of a heart attack at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK at the age of 80 years.

Joan is survived by: her loving husband of 60 years, John; two daughters, Heidi (Daniel) and Cindy (Gordon); son-in-law, Sheldon; granddaughter, Mikaela; sisters, Jenny (Doug) and Emmy; as well as nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

Joan was predeceased by: her brothers, Klaas, Bob and Tony; sisters, Luus and Sabina; most recently her mother, Antonie (Oma) in April of 2021; and her youngest child, Noreen in May 2022.

The Funeral Service in memory of Joan will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, AB on Monday, December 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM. Refreshments and fellowship to follow.

Donations in memory of Joan may be made to Cross Cancer Institute or Border Paws Animal Shelter Society.
