Obituary of Marcel Schmidt

Marcel Curtis Schmidt passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan, February 24, 2023 at the age of 72 years.

Marcel is survived by: his loving wife, Marina Schmidt; two children, Desiree (Jay) Sebree and Marcel Jr. (Rain) Schmidt; six grandchildren, Serena Sebree, Myah Schmidt, A.J. Schmidt, Andrey Schmidt, Gunnar Korth and Charlyn Ramirez; sister, Phyllis Schmidt of Calgary; aunt, Audrey Curtis of Vermilion; sister-in-law, Lynnel; brothers-in-law, Ron Harper of Fort Macleod, James (Karen) Harper of Winnipeg and Sheldon Harper of Winnipeg; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Marcel is predeceased by: his parents, Arnold and Ruth Schmidt; brother, Leon Schmidt; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Ruth Harper; and brothers-in-law, Donnie Harper and Dwayne Harper.

The Funeral Service for Marcel will be conducted from McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend, you may view the live streaming of the service which will be posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Marcel's obituary at the time of the service.  

Donations in memory of Marcel may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation.
