Would like to send my deepest condolences to the family. Gordon was a very sweet man. I was on his bus and was glad that he was my bus driver. He will be missed. You had a great heart Gordon. Thank you for being there every morning to bring me to school and home.

Glenda & Maxwell families, my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Gordon, your hero! He was such a great spirit and I will say, the BEST garden assistant I ever had, as I know he helped everyone he could. He lived life to the fullest and I so enjoyed all my minutes I spent with him and mom, the laughs the conversation. When he told me he was going to retire from the garden duties, (which I knew he really enjoyed) I told him ......'not acceptable'! and we both laughed! imagine retiring at the youthful age of '82'! RIP Gordon, you have certainly earned, I know you will be working in the gardens in heaven with the perfection you did here on earth, your family will forever share the many stories you left them with. We will all remember.....

Gordon was a man of great character...a kind and wonderful man. He was soft spoken and polite. As a well respected family man, he was very proud of his children and his grandchildren. You could see the sparkle in his eyes whenever he would see any of them. He was very compassionate, and that is a quality he has passed down to his children. They are all the same as their Dad, everyone gets treated with respect and kindness, no matter who you are. Gordon's family wouldn't hesitate to help anyone who needed a hand. That's just who they are.....that's what Gordon and Barb instilled in their children. What a great legacy.
Gordon has now been called home, to re-join the love of his life. He has left a void here on earth, but he is now pain free and I just know him and Barb will be square dancing up a storm once again.
My condolences to the family
Rest in peace Gordon

Hi Maxwell Families,
We were very sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He's with your Mom now, and they are pain free and having a great time square dancing with all their friends who have gone before them. Treasure your precious memories, and keep your family ties with your siblings. I know when our family all gets together, we have a blast reminiscing our lives with our parents.
I'm sorry we will not be home to see you all on Monday, but will be thinking of you. Take care. Sending lots of love & hugs!

My father and Mr Maxwell were very good friends and I can’t count the ways they interacted. Gordon never forgot his roots and was always a good chat in hand when attending events at Greenwood Hall. Thanks for all the fixes and repairs as well. Condolences to the entire family.
