Stuart Napper

Obituary of Stuart Garnet Napper

Stuart Garnet Napper, known by many as "Stu" or "Stuie", was born on November 26, 1939 in Lashburn, SK to Garnet and Ethel Napper. He was the eldest of 5 children. Stuart passed away peacefully on April 24, 2023, in Lloydminster, SK.

Stuart was predeceased by: his mother, Ethel in 1986; father, Garnet in 1987; brother, Gary in 1984; brother, Murray in 2011; and brother, Bobby in 2018.

Stuart is survived by: his wife, Marilyn; son, Cody (Karen) and their three children, Lincoln, Ellie and Lane; and sister, Sandra.

Stuart was a very hard worker, but he always had time for a chat or a coffee with everyone. He enjoyed his trips to Husky House with grandson, Lane, for a coffee and visit with "the boys". Stuart was well known by many. If you ever mentioned that you were a Napper, it was guaranteed that people would say, "Oh, Stuie, I know him" and then proceed to share a story about him, quite often related to his chuckwagon racing days! He was very well respected and known for being a true gentleman, a great cowboy, a wonderful family man and the best Grandpa.

Stuart will be remembered for his kind, quiet demeanor and his famous smile. He will be greatly missed but lovingly remembered. Rest in peace, Stuart.

The family would like to invite everyone to come help us celebrate Stuart's life on Tuesday, May 2 at 2:00 PM at the Lashburn Sportsplex, Lashburn, Saskatchewan. The Celebration of Life will be recorded and posted after the service.

Donations in memory of Stuart may be made to Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation or donor's charity of choice.
