Roland Dillon passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on May 18, 2023 at the age of 67 years.

On March 11, 1956 Margaret and Douglas Dillon welcomed their baby boy, Roland, into this world. He was the youngest of 15 children. Roland was a hard worker with a heart of gold. He devoted over 20 years of his life to Onion Lake Bus Lines and over 13 years to Onion Lake security. He loved his job so much he called the students his kids. 

Roland enjoyed teaching his family about the word of God. He helped shape and guide all his children and grandchildren. He dedicated his children and grandchildren to the Lord and preached the importance of love, forgiveness and prayer. Roland enjoyed going to garage sales and loved long walks with his wife. He met his wife, Marirose Dillon on October 17, 1975. They went on to spend 48 wonderful years together and had 6 beautiful children and then 23 grand children and 12 great grand children. 

Roland is survived by: loving wife, Marirose Dillon; children, Leslie (Nadine), Shannon (Eldon), Shawna, Sharla, Samara and Elijah; grandchildren, Shaylene (Trent), Lindsay (Kyler), Shanelle (Louis), Lekszi, Brittany, Lawson, Tiara, Kesse, Braylie, Trinity, Tristan, Lovely, Miley, Kovee, Natalia, Theo Jr, Leslie Jr, Caius, Pierson Jr, Pierce, Zoey and Liam; brother, Miles Dillon (Matilda); and sisters, Martha and Aldina.

Roland was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas and Margaret Dillon; brothers, Harvey, George, Lloyd, Allen, John, Pat, Kenneth and Alvin; sisters, Gladys, Ida and Josephine; grandson, Trenton; and daughter-in-law, April Fox. 

The Wake for Roland will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

The Funeral Service for Roland will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, Saskatchewan on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
