Obituary of Irene Johner

Irene Rose Johner(Battle) was born in London, England on May 17, 1924 and passed away at Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the age of 99 years.

Irene is survived by: her children, Carol (Don) Hamelin, David (Arlinda) and Gary (Karin); ten grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Eva, Irene, June and Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Irene was predeceased by: her loving husband, Jack; father and mother, Fred and Lillian Battle; sisters, Lil Daly and Dot Myers; grandsons, Jaron and Jordie Johner; and numerous other family members.

The Celebration of Life for Irene will be conducted from Maidstone Legion Hall, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Monday, June 5, 2023 at 2:00 PM. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Irene's obituary at the time of service.
