Irene was a remarkable woman who touched so many lives in her long and full journey through life. She wore many hats as a mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, neighbour and public health nurse. I am grateful for her kindness, generosity and always steady example to all of us who grew up on 38 Street. My sincere condolences to Kevin, Maxine, Kathryn, Colleen, Michael, Wendy and their families.
