My thoughts & prayers go out to Leo's family. Growing up in Chauvin, Alberta I always enjoyed the conversations after church with Leo. We also made sure that we delivered the mail to Leo's mailbox on Saturday night on our way home and would ask him if he received his mail. He knew what we were talking about. Rest in peace Leo.

Amy and families,it is with regret we learn the passing of Leo. My connections with Leo go back before we were married(1958) I also think of the New Years parties at Artland school and the french jokes he entertained us with. Leo also manufactured many items for the farm and any thing he made was made to last foever. I know he was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and I hope you will find comfort in knowing his genetics will live on for many generations also our community as a whole will be better from his contribution he made in his own way.

Amy and families. Our thoughts and prayer are with you at this sad time. Everytime we met Leo he would always have a great joke to tell. The story was part of his charm in the delivery. Your memories will sustain you when you need them. He will be missed but is busy telling tales and keeping everyone laughing. God bless you all. John and Lorette(Benoit)Gunnell - Osoyoos.BC.

Armand & Bernadette & family, Our thoughts are with you at this time of sorrow. May you find comfort that there are those who have gone through this before and that your Dad left a legacy in the community. Victor mentioned last night that when your Dad & Grandpa made something, he made it to last. He remebers having to help Lyle move corral panels and cattle feeders your Dad made - well it took two very strong men to move a little feeder and a front end loader to move the corral panels. No animal was going to wreck his work!!!!. Things will get better as you remember the good times and even some of the bad times. Love from Victor & Leanor Olsen

Our sincere condolences to Amy and family. Many good times were spent around the campfire telling stories and sharing laughs. Leo was a man who understood the true meaning of wealth - family and friends. He will remain in the hearts and memories of his lake friends.
