Obituary of Norma Wittman

Norma Kathleen Wittman (Davey)

With great sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Norma Kathleen Wittman (Davey) at the age of 88 years. Norma was the fifth oldest of fifteen children born to Elgin and Eva Davey. 

 

Norma was born on January 5, 1935 in Hawarden, SK and passed away after a brief illness on August 1, 2023 at the North Battleford Regional Hospital.

 

Norma is predeceased by her loving husband, Vernon William Wittman on January 3, 2018 and son, David Walker Wittman on April 20, 1965. 

 

Surviving members of her family include three daughters: Darlene Kennedy (Scot), Wendy Fesyk (Garvin), Kelly Duncan (Shawn), seven grandchildren: Jason Fesyk (Elissa), Tyson Kirtzinger (Jaime), Justin Fesyk (Katelin), Lindsay Kirtzinger, Amber Meadows (Owen) Brody Duncan (Bree), Kody Kennedy (Hailey): ten great-grandchildren: Andrew Fesyk, Taylor, Jason, and Parker Kirtzinger, Grady, Rylan, Kelby and Crew Fesyk, and Hailey and Caleb Meadows. 

 

Norma devoted her life to her family, and worked various cashier jobs while travelling around with Vern, as he worked for the CIBC. She was involved in various sporting activities and had a love for singing and music. 

 

Mom’s true passion was spending time at their cottage at Turtle Lake with family and friends. 

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Villa Pascal Care Home in North Battleford, SK. 

 

At Norma’s request a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
