Obituary of Clayton Dillon

Clayton Floyd Dillon passed away in Onion Lake, Saskatchewan on Friday, August 4th at the age of 67 years.

Clayton Floyd Dillon (Cowboy) was born on March 10, 1956 to Charles and Christina Dillon (nee Waskewitch).  Clayton was the oldest of 8 children.  He learned his trade as a carpenter from his dad and alongside his brothers.  His Craftmanship can be seen in many homes and buildings in Onion Lake.  Cowboy was a warmhearted, compassionate, charismatic and humble man.  His children were the joy of his life and he will be with them always in their hearts.  He had a way about him where, when you met up with him, you knew he was happy to see you.  Clayton was a hard worker and had many “tricks of the trade”.  There is so much to say about “Clay”, that one page could never cover it.

Cowboy leaves to mourn his passing: his special friend, Diane Fiddler; mother of his younger children, Edna Quinney; sons, Mitch, Donald (Lindsey), Delaney, Cadin and Dayton; mother of his older children, Bonnie Moosomin; children Sheldon (Marcella), Holly (Stuart) and Tory (Grant); siblings, Marjorie, Leonard (Linda), Jeff (Lily), Bennett (Velma), Wilma (Stuart); 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.

Cowboy is predeceased by: his father, Charles; mother, Christina; brothers, Nelson, and Clifford; sister-in-law, Delores; uncles, Ernest, Eric, Arthur, Roy, Joe, Bill, Harry, Cameron, Percy, Samuel and Jim; aunt, Jean; nephews, Timothy and Mathew; and niece Kirsten.
