Neil was my neighbour at Loon Lake for a number of years and we curled against each other for a long while.Both ended up having some laughs and a wee toddy.Condolences to the family.

I knew Neil pretty much my whole life and seldom saw him without a smile on his face. He was generous within our town and community and was a good neighbour to us.

Although we have known Neil for many years, my memory is posted here on behalf of my parents, Anne and Gerald Groenen. Neil was a good friend to Anne and Gerald while they all lived at Dr. Hemstock Assisted Living . His kindness knew no boundaries and he was always willing to lend a hand, give a ride or run an errand. One of Dad’s most precious possessions as he aged was a pocket knife engraved with his name that Neil brought to him after a trip. Although both of my parents have passed away, I know they appreciated Neil as a friend and neighbour.

My thoughts are with all of of you at this terrible time.
We were very fortunate to have lived in Neilburg when your family was growing up. My husband Dave worked for your dad for some time- we also lived close so we spent time together (so enjoyable as your dad was capable of welcoming everyone)
How times have changed all our lives so remember all the love that you all shared.
