Obituary of Allan Beaton

BIOGRAPHY BEATON ~ Allan Gilchrist Beaton passed away peacefully at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the age of 93 years. Allan will be sadly missed by his sister Ethel as well as The Evans Families. The funeral service was conducted from the Kitscoty Community Church, Kitscoty, Alberta on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Bob Aldrich officiating. The eulogy was read my Murray Evans. The hymns sung were "All The Way My Savior Leads Me" and "In The Sweet By & By" accompanied on the organ by Margaret Venance-Ostrom. The honorary pallbearers were All Those Who Shared In Allan's Life. The active pallbearers were Don Weir, Eric Blake, Ron Blake, Jim Byrt, Bob Hiltz and Ed Lang. Interment was held at the Kitscoty Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Ethel would like to say a special thanks to the staff of the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, McCaw Funeral Service, the Kitscoty Community Church ladies for providing the lunch and to everyone for their cards, kind words and thoughts.
