Obituary of Isabelle Tarapacki

Isabelle (Belle) Tarapacki was a very kind and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world peacefully on August 18, 2023, at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family.

Isabelle was born on October 29,1932, in Mildred, Saskatchewan. In 1959 she moved to Lloydminster to further pursue her nursing career. She met Wally, who shared her love of dancing, and together they raised four children on the farm. Belle loved spending time in her kitchen baking, cooking, and preparing food for her family and friends, as well as the Farmers’ Market. She had a passion for gardening and was a talented seamstress, and she also spent many hours crocheting, cross-stitching, and knitting. She was a known lover of anything ‘sweet’ or chocolatey - which she passed onto her four children! Isabelle not only worked hard; she also spent time enjoying travel with Wally in their later years.

Isabelle is survived and lovingly remembered by: her four children, Wendy (Morris), Michael (Rhonda), Lori (Melvin) and Shona (Kirk); nine grandchildren, Jeffrey, Lindsay, Joshua, Tiona (Dylan), Jordan, Justin, Matthew, Kenton and Carter; two great-grandchildren, Alivia and Kyle; one sister, Marie; as well as numerous other relatives.

Isabelle is predeceased by: her husband, Walter; as well as many of her extended family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by all - we love you so much mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend.

A Private Interment will be held at Lloydminster City Cemetery for Isabelle to be laid to rest with her husband, Wally.

Belle’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Unit 51 at Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, the staff of Devonshire Village (her home for the past 15 years), the numerous friends and relatives for their heartfelt words, and McCaw Funeral Service for their professional and compassionate administration of the funeral arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to WIN House, a charity that was dear to Isabelle’s heart.
