It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of William “Lennard” Shakotko. Lennard was the youngest child born to William and Annie Shakotko on October 6, 1944 in Biggar, SK. Lennard passed away in Maidstone, SK on Friday, September 1, 2023 at the age of 78 years. 

Lennard leaves to mourn his passing:  his two sons, Bill (Maria Kokonas) Shakotko and Curtis (Jamie) Shakotko; daughter, Audra (Mark Opseth) Shakotko; five granddaughters, Kelcey Shakotko, Morgan Weinkauf, Jacie Shakotko, Madeline Shakotko and Jenna Shakotko.  

Lennard was predeceased in death by: his beloved wife, Linda; and parents, William and Annie Shakotko. 

It was Lennard’s wish to be buried next to, “The love of his life” as soon as possible.  In honor of his wishes, Lennard will be buried at Fartown Cemetery near Lone Rock, Saskatchewan.  

In lieu of flowers, volunteer in your community or give to a charity of your choice.
