Obituary of Marie Trundle
Doris “Marie” Trundle passed away peacefully September 9th, 2023 in Salmon Arm, BC surrounded by family.
Born August of 1938 in Lloydminster, she grew up in Fartown, Saskatchewan. She met the love of her life on a skating rink in Marshall and together they settled in Lloydminster where they raised four daughters. They retired for many years at their beloved home at Loon Lake before returning to Lloydminster.
Marie took very good care of her family, tending a large garden, cooking and baking. She loved to play cards and was known to cut a rug or two. Marie moved to BC in 2019 to be closer to family.
Marie Trundle is survived by her daughters, Diane (Emil Storos) Trundle, Wendy (Ted Ramey) Trundle, Rhonda (John McIntyre) Trundle and Heather (Rodney Farewell) Trundle; her grandchildren, Jordan (Andrea) Browne, Travis (Rowena) Browne, James (Jenn) Trundle, Tammie Trundle (Kurt Mohr), Christie (Logan) Tolsma, Allison McIntyre and Shane Dornfield; her 13 great grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Ken (Pat) Trundle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was predeceased by her husband Art Trundle; her parents, Samuel and Doris Noyes; and her grandson, Cameron O’Reilly.
A Graveside Service will be held at Fartown Cemetery, on July 6th at 11:00 am followed by a Celebration of Life at the Anglican Church Hall, Lloydminster SK @ 1:00 pm. Please bring a lawn chair to the cemetery if you desire to sit through the service.
