Obituary of Gordon Vermette

BIOGRAPHY VERMETTE ~ Gordon Malcolm Vermette passed away peacefully at his home in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Gordon will be sadly missed by his son Jerry and Jeannine Vermette of Lloydminster; daughter Simonne and Dany Sprock-Eels Gallis, Antwerp, Belgium; one brother Richard and Enid Vermette of Terrace, B.C. as well as numerous other relatives. The funeral service was conducted from the St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, October 30, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Father Martin Pasala officiating. The eulogy was read by Carol and Diane. Leader of song was Marlene Risling accompanied on the piano by Donna Weston. The honorary pallbearers were All Those Who Shared In Gordon’s Life. Interment was held on November 5, 2009 in Redvers, Saskatchewan. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. The family of Gordon Vermette would like to thank Dr. Rogers and Dr. Khatun for the great care given to Gordon. Donations in memory of Gordon may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
