Obituary of Barrett Belsheim

BELSHEIM - Barrett Miles Belsheim passed away Oct 23 at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton at the age of 4 months. Barrett will be sadly missed by his mom Marie Belsheim, Grandma Joan, Aunty Michelle, Aunty Marvia and the entire family. Funeral service was Oct 29 at Bethel Lutheran Church. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd administered the arrangements. Dear friends/family The past two month journey has been the biggest trial of my life or so I thought. Now begins a new passage that is harder. I only had Barrett for a short time but the hole now left in my heart is huge an overwhelming. The support through prayers, phone calls, wishes, touch, visits, cards, food; the help I received from family and friends here and far, the congregation, community, new acquaintances and people that I don't know "yet", has meant so much and it continues to give me strength. Thank you Pastor Wilhelm for the service as well and your visits. Thank you Pastor Krebs for your visits, prayers, and encouragement. I was so touched when I was included in the fundraising evening for the church. Being away from home for such a long time has been taxing in so many ways and your collected gift is very much appreciated. For your gift of music—thank you Kevin Nelson. Thank you to those that organized and served lunch. Thank you Glenn McCaw for your professionalism at such a difficult time for your family as well as ours. To those who checked in on things while we were away and kept in touch by e-mail and facebook thank you. In lieu of cards a gift has been made to Ronald Mcdonald House-my home away from home, a wonderful, warm place to be when I couldn't be home. I also wish to encourage everyone to become a blood donor.
