Bertel James "Jim" Bertelsen passed away at Pioneer Lodge, Lloydminster, Alberta on February 25, 2024 at the age of 70 years.

Jim is survived by: his mother, Irene Manson; children, Holly Kay (Dave), Corey Bertelsen (Lisa), Michael Taitinger, and Cara Ketterer (Steve); grandchildren, Jessica (Bryan), Morgan, Carley, Haylei, James, Quinn, Wyatt and Aiden; great grandchildren, Colt & Ava; siblings, Greg Bertelsen (Ilene), Larry Bertelsen (Vicki), Brian Bertelsen (Diane), Nelda Pelz (Don), Ken Manson (Deb), Gail Manson and Cindy Green (Larry); and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim was predeceased by: his step-father, William "Bill" Manson;  father, Bertel Conrad Bertelsen; brothers, Lynn Bertelsen and Mick Manson.

The Memorial Service for Jim will be conducted from Living Faith Pentecostal Church, Lloydminster, AB on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11:00 AM. This service will be recorded and posted at a later date.
