Obituary of Merilyn Newsham

Merilyn Barbara Newsham nee Minish passed away at Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on March 5, 2024 at the age of 55 years.

Merilyn is survived by: brother, Colin (Patricia) Minish and their family Shawn, Corrine, and Ashleen (Jerry Sweeney); brother, Garry (Leonida) and their family Michael (Charma), Leonard (Angie),  Susanna Minish, Cristina (Scott) McAleer, and Pamala Minish; brother, Harold (Judy) Koppel and their family Tyler (Krysta) Koppel, Daniel (Tara) Koppel, Gary (Judy) Walsh, Brian (Joanne) Gislason, Brent (Donna) Hawker, and Brenda Gislason; aunts and uncles, Fred (Teddy) Minish, Orla (Dave) Lockerbie, and Shirley Shappert; many cousins and their families; her beloved cat, Tinkers; and friend Gayla.

Merilyn is predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Faye Minish; step mother, Pauline Minish; her husband, Marcus Newsham; step brother; David Gislason; great nephew, Dawson Carswell; and numerous aunts and uncles.

The Funeral Service for Merilyn will be conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 11:00 am. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service  posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Merilyn's obituary at the time of service.
