Obituary of Marie Wells

Marie Jane Wells passed away peacefully at Jubilee Home at the age of 96 on the morning of March 24, 2024 with her sons by her side. 

Marie is survived by; her three sons, Gerald, Neil (Debbie) and Dale (Meisu); 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marie is predeceased by; her loving husband, Art; her parents, Tom and Evelyn Hughes; and her brother and sister in law, Ken and Irene Hughes.

Marie loved to “coffee” with her friends and neighbors. In her honor, a luncheon will be served on April 4, 2024 at 12:30 PM in Southminster Community Hall, the site of so many community events like Christmas Concerts, Hallowe’en parties, dances and especially teas and meetings with Southminster Ladies’ Club.

If so desired, memorial contributions in memory of Marie may be made to donor’s charity of choice.

She was loved so much and will be missed.
