My deepest sympathy to Ed, James, Tammy, and Family. When I heard of the passing of Evelyn, it saddened me that another member of the greatest generation has left us. She was truly an amazing women; with a kind, generous heart. Throughout the years, I worked with her at many Ukrainian Malanka's and fundraising events. We had many fun times together and lots of laughs. She was a tireless volunteer and her love for her Ukrainian Heritage was great!
Evelyn's love for Ed, ran deeper than words can express, and she was so proud of her "children, grand children, and great-grandson" and loved to talk of their endeavors. God gives us examples on this Earth of how we should live our lives, and she was one of the best examples I know. She loved you all very much and I know you will miss her terribly.
You will now have an angel to watch over you. Vichnaya Pam'yat! Eternal Memory!
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
with love and sympathy,
Linda Charko

So sorry to hear the news of Evelyn’s passing. As a teenager I babysat for Evelyn & Ed first with James, and then Tammy. Our families were neighbours on 48th Avenue. Evelyn was a very kind woman and a great cook. She also had a contagious smile. I hadn’t spoken to her for a few months but the last time I saw her we had good visit in Shopper’s. Sending sympathy,
Sheila & Hal Coulter

Вічная Пам’ять ~ Eternal Memory. My deepest condolences and sympathies to Ed, James and Michelle & family, and Tammy and Neil & family. Evelyn’s kindness and welcoming nature always made people feel like they were apart of the parish. Her skills in the kitchen was of great enjoyment. Very tasty dishes that were the hit of our after Divine Liturgy pot.uck or when cooking for our Perogy suppers Her Poor Man’s soup was a hit with everyone who had the good fortune to get a bowlful. Evelyn’s smile, faithfulness to her faith, and kindness that will be missed greatly.
