Obituary of Bruce Whitstone

Bruce Pierre Whitstone passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, SK on May 13, 2024 at the age of 71 years.

Bruce is survived by: his loving wife, Vivian Whitstone; children, Buffy 'Okimaskwew' , Okimow (Michelle), Josie, Victoria, and Darwin; 
siblings, Daniel, Albert (Lisa), Ronnie (Marlene), Rosa, Darwin (Val) and Rose; step siblings, Jean, Mavis, Crystal (Richard), Pierrita (Brian), Soaring Eagle and Cody; grandchildren/osima, Wade (Kuna), Mariah (Ryan), Gracie (Jordyn), Aislinn, Ranen, Kodiak, Merrick, TreBear and Polaris;great grandchildren/capana, his loves - Brave, Kenley, RJ; Capan Brave's dad, Tyler Yazzie; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Bruce Whitstone is predeceased by: his parents, Pierre and Victoria Whitstone, paternal grandparents, Alphonse and Harriet Whitstone; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Mariah Heathen; all his maternal aunties, Christina Harper, Louisa Wolfe, Violet Cook and Katherine Wolfe; maternal uncles, Scott, Frank and Daniel Heathen; paternal auntie, Flora Whitstone; brother, Lee Whitstone, niece, Marcia Whitstone; nephews, Tanner and Brydon Whitstone; mother in law, Violet Trottier; brother in law, Edward Trottier; adopted family, Charlie Tailfeathers; Edwin Calfrobe, Freddie Ike, Norman and Phyllis Largo and Buffy's son's dad, Darryl Wilk; and good friend, Blair Antoniuk.

The Wake for Bruce will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 3:00 PM.

The Funeral Service for Bruce will be conducted from Onion Lake Communiplex, Onion Lake, SK on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM.
