Elfrieda "Frieda" Thresea Smith passed away at Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on June 7, 2024 at the age of 92 years.

Frieda is survived by: her son, Darwin; grandchildren, Sheldon (Brenda) Schliemann, Gloria (Dale) Schliemann, Sabrina (Kevin) Schliemann and Alexis Rodriguez-Smith; great-grandchildren, Brooklyn (Brennen), Levi (Lauren), Zoey (Quinton), Tavin, Calen, Dylan, Haley and Chelsea; great-great grandchildren, Scarlett and Elora; son-in-law, Doug Schliemann; brother-in-law, Donald (Loretta) Smith; sisters, Margaret (Louis), Maria (Fred), Olga (Edward) and Martha (Terry); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Frieda was predeceased by: her husband, Harold; daughter, Loretta Schliemann; parents, Wilhelm and Margaret Nimrichter; brothers, Wilhelm (June), Gustav (Helen). Stephan (Sharon) and Herbert (Shirley); sisters, Marianne (Kurt), Wilhelmina (Walter), Ingeberg (Alfred), Ericka (Steve), Doreen (William) and Stephanie (Richard). 

The Funeral service will be held at McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, AB on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM. A viewing will be held at 1:00 PM before the service and a reception will follow the service and interment.

Donations in memory of Frieda may be made to Alzheimer Society of Canada, Lloydminster Continuing Care Centre or donor's charity of choice.
