Obituary of Earl Conacher

Earl Ronald Conacher, aged 86, of Mervin, SK passed away on June 13, 2024 in Turtleford, Saskatchewan. 

Earl was born on the family farm near Mervin, SK to John and Mary Conacher on October 7, 1937. He was the middle of 11 children. Earl attended  Brooksdale School and Mervin School. He worked as a constable with North Battleford Police Service before going back to the farm, where he, along with his wife of 63 years, Muriel, raised their family. He retired from farming in 2008 which allowed him to spend more time with his family, traveling with Muriel and enjoying his hobbies like wood working and collecting antiques. 

Earl is survived by; his wife, Muriel; sons, Gavin (JoAnne Burnett), Mark (Lisa), Ward (Cherie Peterson) and Quinn (Tanya Michayluk); grandchildren, Emily, Beth, Aidan, Hudson, Ella and Lily; siblings, Dale (Sheila), Roy (Helen), Jean (Marcel) and Keith (Laurie); sister-in-law, Madeleine; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Earl is predeceased by; his parents, John and Mary; siblings, Margaret (George), Robert (Myrtle), Alec (Donna), Milton, Ed, Kenneth; and sister-in-law, Marilyn.
 
The Celebration of Life will be conducted from Mervin Community Hall on Thursday, June 27th at 2:00 PM with Rev. Don Skinner and Rev. Kun Kim officiating. If you are unable to attend in person, you may view the live streaming of the service posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Earl's obituary at the time of service. Interment will occur at a later date. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Twin Rivers Health Care Foundation - Paradise Hill for support of Riverside Health Complex in Turtleford.
