Sylvia was a very special person. In the short time I was privileged to know her, during her time at the hospice, I saw how strong her Faith was and how much she cared for, and appreciated the people around her. Watching the video of the funeral and all of the pictures taken throughout a lifetime of loving and caring for her family makes it very clear just how special she was. It also highlights what a wonderful legacy she has left behind in her loving family.. My prayers are with all of you..

I met Sylvia through the senior ladies water aerobics program in Lloydminster. She commented on my red and black tunic (she had the same tunic hanging in her closet) that I wore to one of the Christmas potlucks. We discussed clothing styles and I mentioned my daughter living in Australia really liked the tunic too. Long story short, a few months later Sylvia arrived at early morning water aerobics with a bag that held a red and black tunic. She told me she no longer wore her tunic and wanted to give it to my daughter. Her red and black tunic now resides in Toogoom Australia.

Over the years, we have so many happy memories & special moments with the Hancock & Milne families together. Bob & Sylvia truly were two of our closest and dearest friends in life. Through this sad time, it is comforting knowing that they are together again.
