My sincere condolences to Uncle Kai, John and Sylvia and family, Guy and Wendy and family, and Tammy and family. Auntie Cecelia was a special person and I enjoyed every visit with her. I remember going to church with her as a very little girl and that she taught the Sunday School class. I also remember how she let me pretend to be a hairdresser in her shop when I was little, causing squeals of laughter every time I lost control of the hose and flooded her shop when I was shampooing. I also think it was her way of getting help folding all those towels, though! I remember her little Datson truck and can’t believe the storms she drove through getting to work or to help Grandma in Saskatoon. I can’t begin to count the rushed lunches and suppers she had of toasted tomato sandwiches so she could get another person’s hair done, go to a baseball game, especially if it was one of her billets, or to go to a Royal Purple meeting. She was so happy living on the farm with Uncle Kai and there, too, I was lucky to spend time over the years, visiting and made many trips walking to check her garden, which was her pride and joy, until pea shelling time. I will remember Auntie’s laugh and how she loved all her family and friends.
