Obituary of Ernest "Fred" Kastendieck
Ernest Manfred Kastendieck passed away in his sleep at St. Walburg Care Home, St. Walburg, Saskatchewan on December 6, 2024 at the age of 92 years.
Fred is survived by: sisters, Irma Krug and Irene (John) Krowchuk; brother in law, Robert Richardson; children: Mike (Tara) Kastendieck, Barry (Rhonda) Kastendieck, Norlee (Bill) Davis, Peter Kastendieck and Jeff Kastendieck; son-in-law, Keith Callbeck; step-children, Cindy Rafuse and family, Karen Siemens and family; grandchildren, Maxwell Kastendieck, Cole (Shelby) Kastendieck, Ainsley Kastendieck, Kyle (Amber) Callbeck, Jayden (Kelly) Callbeck, Lance (Kennedy) Callbeck, Luke Panagiotidis, Kristen Panagiotidis; Holly Davis, Zack Davis, Brooke Kastendieck, Hailey Kastendieck, Andrea Kastendieck, Christie Kastendieck and Sarah Kastendieck; great-grandchildren, Gage Kastendieck, Nick Lamoureax, Alex Lamoureax, Ryanna Seniantha, Crowin Seniantha, Laura James, Kessler James, Charlee Callbeck, Krue Callbeck, Collins Callbeck, Bennett Kastendieck and Zoey Kastendieck; and numerous extended family and friends.
Fred was predeceased by: his wife, Margaret Kastendieck; parents, Eckart Paul Kastendieck (born in Koethen, Germany) and Elizabeth Martha Kastendieck (born in Kade, Germany); brothers, Herman (Rosette) Kastendieck and Gerhard (Uta) Kastendieck; sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Richardson; daughter, Suzie Callbeck; and brother-in-law, Leo Krug.
The Celebration of Life for Fred will be held in the spring.
