Obituary of William "Bill" Peregrym
It is with great love and admiration that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Peregrym, who left us on December 13, 2024 at the age of 92 years.
Bill was born on August 20, 1932 in Beaverdam, Alberta to Samuel and Maria Peregrym. He was the fourth of twelve children in a family that learned early on, the values of hard work, resilience and togetherness.
In 1959, Bill married Lorraine Mogdan and together they built a life full of love and dedication. They raised three children, Lorie, Ardene and Randy, each of whom followed their own paths to success. Bill was immensely proud of his children, his role as a father and grandfather, great grandfather and the values he passed on.
Bill’s passion for family was reflected in countless adventures with loved ones, whether it was getting the camper and boat ready for trips to Moose Lake, attending family reunions or simply enjoying time together at the farm. His life was rich in love, laughter and a sense of community.
As a member of the church and a devoted follower of Christ, Bill’s faith was the Cornerstone of his life. He was deeply committed to his family, his farm and his church. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and the many people he touched throughout his life. He will be remembered for his unwavering love, his dedication to his family and his enduring faith.
Bill leaves behind: his loving wife of 65 years, Lorraine; children, Lorie (Glenda), Ardene (Steve) and Randy (Twila); along with five grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, siblings and extended family members.
Bill is predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Maria Peregrym; parents-in-law, Ralph and Bertha Mogdan; and numerous siblings and extended family members.
Though Bill has left us, his spirit lives on through the lessons he taught us of hard work, perseverance and love. We take comfort knowing that he is now resting in the arms of his Savior.
