BIOGRAPHY CRONE ~ William “Bill” Clifford Crone passed away peacefully at the Foothills Medical Centre, Calgary, Alberta on Monday, August 31, 2009 at the age of 67 years. Bill will be sadly missed by his wife Diane; children: Monica and Kevin Pilkey of Marwayne, Jason and Deana Crone of Lloydminster, Scott and Jolene Crone of Drumheller; seven grandchildren as well as his siblings: Jim and Myra Crone of Sylvan Lake and Pat and Jim Woods of Marshall. The memorial service was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Lorna Brick officiating. Honorary pallbearers were his grandchildren. The eulogy was read by son, Jason Crone. The organist was Lindy Buhr. Interment was held in the Lashburn Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Shriners Childrens Hospital. CARD OF THANKS The family would like to thank the Red Deer EMS, the staff at the Foothills Medical Centre - Cardiac Unit, Reverend Lorna Brick for officiating the service, Lindy Buhr for playing the organ, the Lashburn UCW for providing the lunch, and to all who made donations, and sent cards, flowers and food. The family would also like to thank Dale McCaw and McCaw Funeral Service for their professionalism and compassion. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Shriners Childrens Hospital.
