BIOGRAPHY COLE ~ Margaret Jean Cole passed away peacefully at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at the age of 64 years. Margaret will be lovingly remembered and very sadly missed by her husband of 46 years, Jim, their three children: Jerry (Jill) Cole of Lloydminster, Karen (Rene) Dorval of Edson, Dean (Karen) Cole of Calmar; nine grandchildren as well as two sisters: Diane & Darwin Rowan and Carol & Lloyd Moran. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Alex & Ella Maw, her son Cory and granddaughter Melissa. The memorial service was conducted from Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, August 18, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Sue Hertell officiating. The eulogy was ready by Reverend Sue Hertell as written by Margaret's daughter Karen Dorval. The readers were Joan Harrison and Deanna Bendixen. The hymns sung were "Amazing Grace" and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" accompanied by organist Margaret Venance and the Grace United Church Choir. Honorary pallbearers were All the Grandchildren. Memorial donations were chosen towards the Canadian Cancer Society in remembrance of Margaret & Jim's mothers who both lost their lives to cancer. Margaret will be laid to rest beside their son, Cory at the Miniota, Manitoba Cemetery on Sunday, September 6 at 1:00 P.M. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Margaret's family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton and the Lloydminster Hospital for the care provided to mom during her illness. A special thanks to Reverend Hertell for delivering the eulogy with such eloquence, the organist Margaret Venance, and the Grace United Church Choir for creating a beautiful memorial service. Thank you to the ladies who provided the lunch following. Also, we would like to thank everyone who sent the beautiful flowers, cards, the visits and phone calls, gave donations and for your considerate words before and following the service. Thank you to Glenn from McCaw Funeral Service for your kind compassionate direction for our family through this emotion time. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
