Hi grandma, I was just thinking about you today and stumbled across this page. I just wanted to tell you that I miss you dearly, not that I need to type it I can just say it. But we all miss you. I know you are watching over us all, especially mom. You're making sure if things aren't going very well they always manage to work themselves out and turn out ok. This morning it was raining outside and it was a lovely rain, then shortly after lunch the sky cleared up and the sun shone beautifully. That's when I remembered that today was your birthday and I thought the day couldn't have turned out better. You're always in our hearts....Love Jenna

Dear Family, Bob and Evelyn were my dearest friends during the time Colin and I lived in Alberta. Now I have lost three of them, Bob, Evelyn and Colin. Life goes on with out them all but the memories I have tucked away deep in my heart. Memories of the old songs, the tea parties, the gardens, Colin and Evelyn cooking and sharing recipes, Christmas and Santa Claus making his rounds at the Gee's, Singing at the Jubilee with Evelyn and Bob watching in the audience, the laughter, the honest open conversations, the anniversaries, and all the other gatherings. It seemed that we did not need an event to bring us all together, we just automatically migrated to their house where we knew that we were welcome at any time! People like Bob and Evelyn are rarely replaced. I will always love them in my heart and have always felt a part of their family. Their support and love for me was like having my parents and my family close to me even though they were miles away. My heart aches for you today, Lloyd and Brenda, I wish I could be there with you but we will try to visit this fall. Martin did meet Evelyn and we stayed with her during one of our visits west. He found her to be a wonderful caring lady and loved her as much as I did. Love to all the families, Carol and Martin Soucy (nee: Carol Campbell)

Our thoughts are with you all at this sad time in the loss of Evelyn. She was a very special lady and you can take solace in knowing that she is at peace. We live just down the street from her house and would visit out in her yard with her and got rhubarb from her for some good deserts.

Dear Family, May you find comfort in family and friends and your memories of her, keep her near and in your hearts forever. I will always remember Evelyn, as a truly great neighbor, if she was on her deck as soon as I opened my door I always got a big wave, or if I seen her working in her immaculate garden, I would go to my back yard so we could have visit. My sincere condolences to you all at this difficult time.
