Through My Father's Eyes Well I'm safely here in heaven I made the trip alone It don't take long to get here It's nice in my new home. The flowers are magnificent The trees so tall and green I guess I'd have to tell you More beauty I've not seen! One day you too will be here But till that day appears, Enjoy life as I did How quickly go the years! The memories, I have many I treasure everyone Reminisce of love and laughter Of all the joy and fun. So live well in my honour You all know right from wrong Be kind to one another And try hard to be strong. I know you're going to miss me By God I'll miss you too But let me go and carry on You've still got lots to do. Take time to smell the roses And take time for every friend Cause that's really all that matters When it comes down to the end. And make your hand shake genuine And every smile sincere And know a hug's essential For those that you hold dear. So till we meet again love Know I'm doing well I'm hanging out with old friends I've lots to hear and tell. I love you all so very much We're never far apart A piece of you is with me It lies within my heart. ~ Written by Dar July 22, 2009 CARD OF THANKS Our family would like to express sincere thanks to friends, relatives and neighbours for the kindness and support given to us when Dad passed away.
