Obituary of Georgina Cole

COLE ~ Georgina Campbell Cole passed away peacefully at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Center, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 at the age of 81 years. Georgina will be sadly missed by her husband Ray; her children: Mary and Clarence Huber, Ann and Richard Binsfeld, Elma and Cliff Binsfeld, Nellie Cole, Gordon and Carol Cole, Betty and Alan Kirby, David and Monique Cole, Norma Hall and her friend Blaine Ross; twenty three grandchildren; forty six great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. The funeral service was conducted from the McCaw Funeral Chapel, Lloydminster, Alberta on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Sue Hertell officiating. The eulogy was given by Bruce Binsfeld. Special music was provided by Lisa and Robyn Binsfeld singing "The Rose". The hymns sung were Amazing Grace and How Great Thou Art accompanied on the piano by Lisa Binsfeld. A special CD bagpipe arrangement of Amazing Grace was played as a recessional. Honorary pallbearers were Sharon Germshide, Carol Heise, Norma Ricard, Krista Sobus, Desiree Boyer and Margaret Hemsley. Active pallbearers were Bruce Binsfeld, Brad Binsfeld, Anthony Flegg, Greg Cole, Phillip Kirby and Michael Ricard. Interment took place in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
