Lori & family, we were shocked to hear of Michael's passing. He and Ted were MLA's during the 80's and they developed a good friendship during that time.We especially remember his sense of humor, and his dedication to his constituents,and how proud he was to serve them. Lori and family Bill and I were very fortunate to know Michael and have his support for the Thorpe Centre and the Sexual Assault Centre. He was always very approachable, honest and caring and a good friend. He will be missed.

Our families shared some great times together, I remember the time he backed the van into the tree, we all had a good laugh over that..Our kids have been friends for many years, and still are to this day..We are going to miss Mike waving to us from your deck,his kindness and him calling for cuddles and tigger..We will miss you Mike..

Lori Cole Bart Yumi condolences. Colleen and I got to visit Mike one last time on thursday The Borzells were there also. Mike was my dear friend I will be missing him also. On our last moose hunt I sat with him for a long time on a cutline in his new chev truck. He talked about Cole and Bart and about Yumis parents coming from Japan seeing Banff and moonlite bay. He really liked to talk about you two boys----he was so proud of you both---I guess that old crowbar of a 303 is now retired-----Kim
