SHEPPARD ~ Allan Ronald Sheppard passed away at Marshall, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the age of 65 years. Allan is survived by six brothers and one sister: Ernie of Hinton, Carl of Meadow Lake, Oscar and wife Delores of Prince George, Rex and wife Joyce of Lloydminster, Arnold and wife Darlene of Meadow Lake, Velma of Fort St. John and Donald of Prince Albert and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by: his parents Leonard and Ethel of Meadow Lake, brothers Amos, Hector and Melvin and one sister, Viola Crouch, two sisters-in-law Leota and Dorothy. The funeral service for Allan Sheppard was conducted from Knox Presbyterian Church, Lloydminster on Thursday, April 16, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Allan Young officiating and Jeannette Young as the organist. Eulogy was given by nephew Dale Sheppard. Hymns sung were “What A Friend We Have In Jesus”, “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Amazing Grace”. Active pallbearers were Bob Burak, Randy Grohs, Dale Loy, Rob McSweeney, Ivor Little Spruce and Lyle Sheppard. Interment at a later date near Meadow Lake. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Allan Sheppard wishes to express their sincere thanks to everyone who offered their kindness and sympathy after the passing of Allan. A special thanks to Knox Presbyterian Ladies for lunch. The wonderful service conducted by Reverend Allan Young and organist Jeannette Young. It was very comforting to us. Finally, thank you to McCaw Funeral Service for their professional guidance and support. The Sheppard Family Donations in memory of Allan may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donors choice.
