Obituary of Margaret Glover

BIOGRAPHY GLOVER ~ Margaret Josephine Glover passed away at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre in Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, December 31, 2008. Margaret will be sadly missed by her husband Norman Glover of Lloydminster; her two sons: Luke Glover of Lloydminster, Eric and Kim Glover of Lloydminster; two grandchildren: Bradly and Tyler as well as numerous other relatives in Canada and Australia. Margaret grew up on a dairy farm in Australia and enjoyed working around cattle. She spent several years as a secretary with a lumber company and later took up Mother Craft - nursing new born babies. She learnt to play tennis and also enjoyed teaching it. In 1963 she decided to travel and came to Canada where she nursed elderly people in their homes. Margaret and Norman met in 1965 and were married in October. The Mass of Christian Burial was conducted from the St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. with Father Jan Sobkowicz officiating. Leader of song was Marlene Risling accompanied on the organ by Donna Weston. Active pallbearers were Barry Carlson, Sheila Carlson, Murray Headon, Joan Headon, Carol Stevenson and Jim Cunningham. Interment was held at Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Margaret Glover would like to thank all the nurses, doctors and staff at the Dr. Cooke, Points West and the hospital for the excellent care that Margaret received. Thank you also to Dr. Snyman for being Margaret's physician. To Father Jan Sobkowicz, Donna Weston & Marlene Risling, thank you for the beautiful service.
