BIOGRAPHY KENNEDY ~ Deena Jean Kennedy passed away peacefully at the Maidstone Health Complex, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday, December 5, 2008 at the age of 46 years. Deena will be sadly missed by her husband Dean of Lashburn; three sons: Jonathon and Lisa Kennedy of Saskatoon, Trystan Kennedy of Lashburn, Donyvin Kennedy of Lashburn; mother and father-in-law Gordon and Mary Kennedy as well as numerous other relatives. The celebration of life was conducted from the Lashburn Community Hall, Lashburn, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Glenn Gerbrandt officiating. The eulogy was read by Pam Russell. The hymns sung were "In The Garden" and "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" accompanied on the piano by Jordon Penner. Special CD Music was played. Honorary pallbearers were All Those Who Shared In Deena's Life. Urnbearer was her son Donyvin Kennedy. Interment was held in the Lashburn Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The family of Deena Kennedy would like to thank all the doctors and nurses that cared for Deena. Thank you to Pastor Glenn Gerbrandt and pianist Jordan Penner for making the service so special. Thank you to Pam Russel for reading the eulogy. A special thank you to the Evangelical Free Church for preparing and serving the lunch. To all those who made donations, sent cards and flowers - we can't thank you enough. Thanks to McCaw Funeral Service for your compassionate care. The Kennedy Families Donations in memory of Deena may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Lashburn Arena.
