Dear Doreen & Family, Our sincere condolances in the loss of your husband, father, grandfather and greatgrandfather. We really appreciated his care of his neighbors. When we were building our house and the men were starting to shingle, Neil drove by and saw a need and went home to get his hammer and came back to help shingle the house. When Victor was sick one spring, Neil pulled in with his outfit and helped Fred finish up the seeding. When Fred passed away, Neil came with his outfit and helped Victor with the harvesting. When we had the fire, Neil came with a new sweater for Victor and other gifts. Neil was a good neighbor and friend and he could be counted on to help when needed. We will miss his quiet wit and humor. Thinking of you all at this time of sorrow. It's not easy now, but as the days pass you will be able to reflect on the good times and the happier times. Love from Victor & Leanor Olsen

It won't be the same without Neil's recitation of "In Flander's Fields" at the November 11th community Remembrance Day service. He was a very unique individual and I, for one, will miss him -- especially his humourous approach to life. God bless you all.
