BIOGRAPHY
REYNOLDS ~ James Clifford "Jim" Reynolds passed away peacefully at the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the age of 86 years.
Jim will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley Reynolds of Lloydminster; daughter Heather and Michael Chisholm of Maidstone; son Doug and Mary Reynolds of Edmonton; grandchildren: Ian (Anne Marie) Chisholm, Bradley Chisholm, Stephan Chisholm, Tory Reynolds, Riley Reynolds, Kelly and Peter Laffin, Jenn Drury; great grandchildren: Oscar, Rose, Jameson and Sydney; brother Wilf Reynolds of Edmonton; sister Beatrice Sinfield of White Rock; son-in-law Tom Drury; two step children: Pat Mareck and Lexi and Lawrence Lambert; two step grandchildren: Chris (Mary) Benson and Terra (Bob) Nicolay as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was predeceased by his first wife Wendy, daughter Judy and granddaughter Breanna.
The funeral service for Jim was conducted from the St. John's Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. with Reverend Michael Stonhouse officiating.
A eulogy was read by Stephan Chisholm.
The solos sung were "Somewhere My Love", Peace Is Flowing Like A River "Life And "Prayer of St. Francis" sung by Marlene Risling.
The organist was Pat Skinner.
Honorary pallbearers were Jim's Many Nieces and Nephews.
Legion Honour Guard was in attendance.
Active pallbearers were Tory Reynolds, Riley Reynolds, Ian Chisholm, Brad Chisholm, Stephan Chisholm and Kelly Laffin.
Interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery.
McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
Card of Thanks
Thank you to everyone who came from such great distances to be at the service for our Dad. Thank you also to everyone who sent cards, flowers and baking and who stopped by to offer condolences. Special thanks to the nursing staff at Points West Living and Pine Island Lodge who gave such wonderful care to Jim over the past three months.
Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to a charity of the donors choice.
