Laurie is survived by her husband Dave Schmitt; two children: Emily and Jon; parents Francois and Lois Meunier of Edmonton; five siblings: Colette Meunier of California, Allan Meunier of St. Albert, Adele McDonald of Edmonton, Jeanne Meunier of Toronto, Dan Meunier of Edmonton as well as numerous other relatives.
Donations in memory of Laurie may be made to the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry in support of Dr. Michelakis' cancer research.
