BIOGRAPHY DRURY ~ Ray Gordon Drury passed away peacefully at the Dr. Cooke Extended Care Centre, Lloydminster, Alberta on Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the age of 91 years. Ray is survived by: his loving wife Dot Drury of Lloydminster, four children: Brian and Karen of Lloydminster, Don and Gwenda of Mortlach, Brenda and Lanny of Lloydminster, Wayne and Lori of Calgary; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one sister Francis McKay of Rosetown and one brother Lee and Grace Drury of North Battleford. The celebration of life for Ray was conducted from the Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Sue Hertell officiating. The hymns sung were "The Old Rugged Cross", "Beyond The Sunset", and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" accompanied on the organ by Irene Knowlson. A eulogy was given by Dave McCallum. The urn bearer was Brian Drury. Interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The Drury family would like to thank Reverend Sue Hertell for her wonderful service, Irene Knowlson for her beautiful music and Dave McCallum for the lovely eulogy. We would also like to thank everyone who sent cards, flowers, baking and made donations in memory of Ray. Your kindness will always be remembered.
