We would like to extend our sympathy to Gloria and family. In the last few years I have enjoyed hearing of Wayne as a much-loved Grandpa, whose interest in and knowledge of nature taught so much to his curious grandchildren. For instance, I think it was Wayne who taught Mason to skin the muskrat, which he proudly showed at school the next day. When Lauren took home her giant California 'pine cone' from Kindergarten, Wayne found some seeds in it and tried to grow a tree. He was a wonderful presence in their lives and they will have so many good memories to keep.
