Obituary of Vernon Sayers

B I O G R A P H Y SAYERS: Vernon Wayne Sayers passed away in the Maidstone Hospital, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the age of 64 years. Wayne is survived by: his loving wife Linda of Paynton; three children: Beverly Nicolson and her partner Dan of Meadow Lake, Doug Sayers and his wife Cheryl of Paynton, Evelyn and her husband Leland Hanson of Paynton; eleven grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers: Alvin Sayers, Lottie Tebb, Catherine Ness, Eileen Loursiere, Mona Bullock, Elizabeth Martin and Lorne Sayers and his mother and father-in-law, Len and Evelyn Bullock. Wayne was predeceased by his brother William. The memorial service for Wayne was conducted from the Paynton School Gymn, Paynton, Saskatchewan on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Don Retzlaff & Dale Brook officiating. The hymn sung was "There'll Be Peace In The Valley," accompanied by Marlene Hanson and Marie Ferguson. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks I'd like to give a special thanks to all the nursing staff at Maidstone Health Complex, for the care and compassion they gave Wayne. To all my friends and relatives who were around when I needed them. I'd like to thank Dale Brook, Don Retzlaff, Marlene Hanson, Marie Ferguson, and Holly Davis for their services on a difficult day, and a special thanks to Dale McCaw for all his support and professionalism. I'll be forever grateful to those who stood beside me, and everyone who sent their condolences.
