Obituary of Kenneth Stevenson

STEVENSON ~ Kenneth Robert Stevenson passed away peacefully at the Pine Island Lodge, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the age of 99 years. Ken will be sadly missed by: his son Bob Stevenson and his wife Sheila, one granddaughter Karmen and husband John Linklater; two great grandchildren Mitchell and Ava all from Saskatoon; two brothers Jim and his wife Mildred and Reg all of Kimberly. The memorial service for Ken was conducted from the Maidstone United Church, Maidstone, Saskatchewan on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Ean Kasper officiating. The urn bearers were great grandchildren Mitchell and Ava. Interment was held at the Maidstone Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS Thank you for the personal care received from the Pine Island Lodge Staff, you are all his special family. To Reverend Ean Kasper for his comforting words and eulogy, June Franks and the Community Choir for their music, the U.C.W. for the abundant lunch and to all who sent flowers, cards, food, phone calls, e-mails and to all who donated to the Lodge in memory of dad.
