Obituary of Donna Moore

Moore, Donna Mae (Beattie) late of Lloydminster, Alberta went to her heavenly home February 22, 2008. Donna will be forever remembered by the family and many friends she left behind. Donna was born on December 13, 1951 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by her mom and dad Jean and Percy Beattie; her mother and father-in-law Bill and Joyce Moore. Donna is survived by her loving husband Glenn, special friend Shalay, her sister Lorna (Bob) Lachambre, her brother Earl (Sandra) Beattie, brothers-in-law Gary (Annie) Moore, Blair (Anna-Marie) Moore, special aunt Edna Pepper, numerous nieces and nephews and many other family and friends too numerous to mention. Those of us fortunate to have known Donna will remember her with a smile on our face and warm feeling in our hearts. Donna lived a life full of strength, grace and dignity. She was full of compassion, always there for her family and friends in times of need. No life passes without a purpose. No sorrow goes uncomforted. Love lives on forever in our hearts. We pray that when she left us she knew how much we cared. She was patient in her suffering and when no hand could give ease - God looked down - felt her pain - and gave her peace. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Donna's memory to a charity of one's choice. The funeral service for Donna was conducted from the Southridge Community Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Thursday, February 28, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Brad Berkan officiating. Eulogies were given by: Marilyn Young, Rob Lachambre and Erin Quinlan. Readings were given by Karen Pasmore and Joan Ellis. Hymns sung were "How Great Thou Art," and "Rock of Ages." Special music "One Day At A Time," was sung by Elayne Harris-Lorenz, and "I Can Only Imagine," was sung by Pastor Brad Berkan. Bill Cornfoot bagpiped the recessional "Amazing Grace." Honorary pallbearers were all those who knew and loved Donna. Active pallbearers were: Rob Lachambre, Sean Young, Bryan Lachambre, Kurt Moore, Randy Renkas and Shaun Moore. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements.
