Obituary of Loretta Rice

BIOGRAPHY RICE ~ Loretta "Lori" Rice passed away peacefully in the Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the age of 80 years. Loretta will be sadly missed by her husband of 61 years, Tom; daughter Laurie-Lynne Rice and Ed Coleman; daughter-in-law Yvette Rice; four grandchildren: Jody Rice and Trevor, Debbie Fordyce and Ryan, Morgan Fournier, Adam Fournier; four great grandchildren: Emma, Carter, Grace, Kalie; two brothers; two sisters as well as numerous other relatives. The memorial service was conducted from the St. John's Anglican Church, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Canon Michael Stonhouse officiating. The hymn sung was "In The Garden" accompanied on the organ by Pat Skinner. The honorary pallbearers were Everyone In Attendance. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. CARD OF THANKS The Family of Lori Rice would like to say a special Thank you to Dr. Kerlis and all of the other doctors, nurses, hospital staff, home care and ambulance services that have provided health care to Lori over the past many years. We also wish to thank our wonderful family, neighbours and friends who phoned, visited and brought food and flowers to the house during this time of sorrow. Thank you also to Reverend Stonhouse and all the family that participated in a beautiful service for Lori. Also thank you to the ladies who provided the lunch. A special thank to Glenn McCaw and his staff for their professional help, advice, compassion and caring in our time of sorrow.
