Weishaar: Tanner Tristan Jay Weishaar passed away suddenly near Maymont, Saskatchewan on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the age of 28 years. Tanner Tristan Jay Weishaar is survived by his loving family: parents David and Gayle, two sisters Alexis and Tagen all of Lloydminster, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A prayer vigil for Tanner was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at 5:00 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial was conducted from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. with Father Jan Sobkowicz officiating. A eulogy was given by Alexis and Tagen Weishaar. Special music was by Melanie Pellerin and Lani Burry. Honorary pallbearers were all his aunts, uncles, cousins, and all those who shared in his life. Active pallbearers were: Ward Holland, Seamus Murphy, Jorge Ponce, Tyson Weighill, Chad Smith and Kris Koep. Interment followed in the Lloydminster City Cemetery. Lunch followed at the Wild Rose Pavilion. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Our family would like to thank all of Tanner's aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous relatives and his and our very special friends (including those who travelled long distances to be here for us), for all your kindness and support at this sorrowful time. A very special thank-you to Dr. N. Combrinck from our family. Thank-you to the Radisson and Lloydminster RCMP detachments and Victim Services for your support and kindness. Thank you to: B & R Eckels, Staff at Lakeland College, U of S, Saskatoon, for all your support and thoughtfulness. Special thank you to Father Jan for the beautiful mass read for Tanner. Many thanks to Melanie Pellerin for all your help at this difficult time and also the beautiful music by Melanie and Lani. Thanks to all the pallbearers and those who participated at the mass, and attended his prayer service and funeral. A special thank you to Glenn McCaw and staff for all you've done and thank you to the ladies who provided lunch at the Wild Rose. Lastly, all your visits, phone calls, cards, beautiful flowers, donations, food, and all your acts of kindness will never be forgotten. Thank you all so much. We want you to know that you have helped us through this difficult time in the loss of our wonderful son and brother.
