DOBSON — Ardis Effie Dobson passed away at the Lloydminster Hospital on November 5th, 2011, at the age of 90. Ardis will be sadly missed by her four children: Sharon and Gordon Kuhn, Maureen and Poul Jorgensen, Bev Haydu, Bill and Carole Dobson; son-in-law Dick Haydu; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister, Shirley and Bill McGrath, as well as numerous other relatives. Ardis was predeceased by her husband, Parke, in 1998. The funeral service for Ardis Dobson was conducted from the Paradise Valley Community Hall at 1 p.m. on November 8th, 2011, with Rev. Lois Greenlay Burwash officiating. Catherine McGrath Lee delivered the eulogy. Hymns included "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," "How Great Thou Art," and "Will Your Anchor Hold". Singing was accompanied by pianist, Sandra Babcock. Ardis' grandchildren, Susan Frame, Sheila Dovovan, Erik Jorgensen, Gitte Rushton, Paige Reimer, Nigel Haydu, Carter Haydu, Christopher Dobson, Nicholas Dobson and Ashley Dobson served as pallbearers Interment was in the Oxville Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd. administered the funeral arrangements. CARD of THANKS We, the family of Ardis Dobson, would like to sincerely thank Dr. Thomas Kerlis and the nursing staff of the Lloydminster Hospital for their devoted care; McCaw Funeral Service for their professionalism and understanding; and everyone who participated in the funeral service or came to pay tribute to our mother. Donations in memory of Ardis may be made to the Climb Thru Time Museum or to the charity of the donor's choice.
